We equip the Church and community leaders  to care for Women, Children, Orphans and Widows

OUR MISSION & VISION

Brief History

Wachaf, was formed in 2008 with a desire to have positive impact on the disadvantaged and underprivileged orphans and widows in Africa through education and empowerment. It's an organization directed by Christian men and women who loves the Lord Jesus Christ, and has been formed under the California Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Law.  However, the history of the foundation can be traced to its core programming which began in 2010 serving orphans, widows while focusing on prayer. The founder of WACHAF Mrs. Grace Adegoke have served on mission outreaches for many years and have learned no man is or ever will be greater than his creator. It is the founder's desire to ensure that widows and orphans with less means are given the opportunity to transform themselves, their families and communities.

Our Mission

Orphans and widows are so poor, very often neglected and ignored in society especially in Africa where they are treated unfairly. They are often caring for several grandchildren where the parents have died.  If the roof of their modest huts are damaged they may have no money and be too frail to repair them.  WACHAF through the grace of God seeks to serve, give aid, comfort and encouragement working with churches, communities, businesses and people when any opportunity arises that will assist this effort. OUR  mission is to impart biblical messages of righteousness and justice (right relationship with God, right relationship with people), to many of African pastors and church leaders every year through conferences and training. In addition, we also help and assist orphans and widows in Africa by strengthening and encouraging them through economic, physical, medical, spiritual, and/or material means.

Our Vision

WACHAF is looking for funding, well wishers and investment partners to achieve the long desired dream of becoming sustainable and be able to achieve full philanthropic impact that we desire for the widows and children in Africa.
